Dance Healing Workshop

Dance Healing is a creative art therapy involving a direct expression and experience of oneself through body movements. Dance Healing is a free workshop for women who would like to experience the power of spiritual communication through the movement of their bodies.

Based on the belief that the body, the mind and the spirit are interconnected, I use the freedom of dance to further the emotional, cognitive, social and physical integration of women in order to improve their self-esteem and body image as well as developing their spiritual lives.

It is a workshop to express emotions through dance rather than the mechanics and technique of dance. You don’t need to know how to dance, just to let go and talk through your body by dancing.

Dance Healing workshop is ideal for those who would like to increase their spiritual lives. You will experience feelings of well-being, happiness and peace therefore is also ideal for those suffering from stress, anxiety, some depression or bereavement.

During the first part of the Dance Healing workshop you will listen to different kind of music including Christian worship music. You will follow my prompts and then, I will encourage self expression using scarves, flags, and other materials to get immersed in the language of the body. Dance healing groups are very small and there is no self disclosure during these meetings neither counselling. Christians and non-Christians are welcome.

Healing Prayer Ministry

Healing Prayer Ministry  is organized by Help Women and Children, a Christian organization working with women from all faiths with the following beliefs: The brain needs to heal from all the traumas that are recorded by experiences in the body. There is plenty of evidence that the spiritual needs of a person are central to recovery. Praying to Jesus, the source of healing, is key to receive healingPeople are looking for a deeper relationship with God, no more religious activities, club activities or ceremonies; they want to experience the true God.Healing the relationship between God and humankind is the very essence of Christ's work in his life, death, and resurrection. During his ministry, Jesus healed lepers, blind men, the lame, a hemorrhaging woman, the demon-possessed, and even raised the dead. Jesus involved his disciples in the work of healing; the book of Acts contains accounts of healing by Christ's followers, and the epistles of Paul discuss healing as a gift of the Spirit. Physical healing was an integral component of Christian life and faith as a sign of God's love, compassion, and care.We believe and obey the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and believe in the power of the blood of Jesus poured out on the cross to bring healing and restoration to the body, soul and spirit.

Many Christian believers have reservations regarding inner healing and are unable to find direct scriptural references as they can with physical healing. The Bible puts a lot of emphasis on the inner man and its damaged soul and spirit and setting captives free. The teaching of curses (ex. freemasonry the strongest), the destruction of occult objects and idols, the sins of the fathers, are some teaching fragments about this topic of inner healing.

We meet once a month at one of our volunteers’ house, therefore is imperative that you make an appointment before your come. Please email Healing Prayer Ministry to know that you are coming.
